jackwagon the K4 paints are actually very good and the quality is up there with some of the top brands.
I'm hoping to get back to the bench next week as I am having styrene and painting DT's.....need to smell some paint....... Will be doing some painting and of course lots of weathering. Might take a bit until I have some pics to post. Trying to hang in there, just one week left to go.

LOL, I feel for you jackwagon. You were on a roll with all the scratch work. I have been hoping to really sit and do some work on the many that have base colors, but you know how it goes. I'll probably be too busy with other things after the time off and won't see the bench for another two weeks...LOL...lets hope not. I think when I get the AK mag I'll be full of mojo.

I've got the roller and the Pershing turret in the first issue. Raw steel and old texture rust. They were quick write ups since I only had a week to get them in.

Steve, not a stupid question bud. Sorry for this late reply, been on holiday and didn't have much time for posting and commenting. You can contact Richard of K4 here. k4weathering@gmail.com
I'm finally getting a bit of bench time after a couple f weeks off, man is good to smell paint again. Did some chipping on the Sherman and am doing some light pin washes and shading at the moment. camo will go on sometime after the wash dries. Stay tuned folks

Thanks John and Spud, good to hear I was missed. I didn't go far, just had little time to post or really check the forum. Pics will come up once the camo and chipping is on. Need to plan the decs as well.

Quick update of the camo. Gonna start some chipping on the brown. Then comes clear coat and decs. You'll notice there are three colors on this one. The desert tan and dark brown camo, along with the factory green in the chipping. I would think that in the extremes of the desert along with a crew living on this tank that it would get chipped to the green factory paint. Update after the chipping and decs

Still chipping away on the Shermie. Doing what I can when I can. Will ship a bit more then add some washes and filters, then a few more chips. Need to build up the effects in layers. Then the dusting will start.

Thanks for the kind words, and especially great to hear you are getting something out of the forum. That is what it should be all about and knowing members take something from what is shown from all members means a lot.
