I have wanted one since I first saw it! Personally, I've already got a metal barrel, but it would be nice to have one included in the set, rather than a resin one.

I'm interested, with a small reservation in committing. I'm operating on a fixed income, so budgetary restrictions apply. I can't say yes, or no, without a ballpark price - since I buy very little resin stuff, "close to similar products" doesn't begin to answer the question. I'd also prefer a metal barrel over the resin one (warping being the main concern).
There's no doubt that Ebay has the largest audience, but as long as Paypal is used you get the exact same buyer and seller protections. All Serzh needs to do is send a Paypal invoice to the buyer. This would save the 10% final value fees Ebay charges. If these are sold through the forums, that could translate to more money in the pocket, or a chance to offer it 10% cheaper than Ebay. Just thought I'd mention it.

Has this been test fitted to the newer tooled DML StuG's and Pz III smart kits? I saw that you fitted it to the Tamiya Pz III L kit.

Gary - hi!
For modelers not from Russia, it is only one way - ebay. This will be done in the coming days.
At the same time will be declared the final price. It is not in my competence.
Apologies for the long process, but I repeat - does this one person...

Has this been test fitted to the newer tooled DML StuG's and Pz III smart kits?Hey. No, did not. Only fitting on an empty enclosure. Sets DML expensive. Therefore, originally built for the conversion outdated sets DML series (1996) and Zvezda. Tamiya - the will of the case. I was surprised that the dimensions no different

I might be interested to obtain one as well. Would be a cool build that isn't found everywhere like tigers and Sherman's. Something different would be cool. As long as it came with clear instructions.

As long as it came with clear instructions. Serzh has posted a detailed thread on how to build the model using his conversion. The set itself comes with an A4 page of photo's showing the construction stages. And should you have a problem after all, you'll find plenty of support here. My set has recently arrived, and it is a thing of beauty! I'd say: go for it!

Good news Serzh! Thanks for posting the updated link!
Thank you as well Martin! God to know other locations where this kit can be purchased.
I do know HardTarget carries the MasterClub line. Might be worth an email to see if they might have them available at sometime here in the US.

Todd - i hope with time everything will be so, as with other conversions or additions sets from Russia The first steps - always difficult instruction And I would recommend to use for the base not Stug C/D, and later version - E or F This is closer to 1943 than earlier versions number by set "old "Dragon - 6033 6042 9028 9029 9030 9032 9101 9106 9116 9123 9136 There has to - later loops and ventilation.

And I would recommend to use for the base not Stug C/D, and later version - E or F This is closer to 1943 than earlier versions NOW you tell me I already bought the Ausf C/D based on your earlier recommendation. Then again, I'm also not prepared to pay the kind of money demanded for an Ausf E/F, so mine will be built using the Ausf C/D kit.

I think you will be fine Dierk! My take on the SU-76i is that there were hundreds of Pz. III based vehicles captured...only two remain in existence. They were most likely not all the same type. It is more than plausible, if you ask me, that there would be alternate variants! I might be doing this on purpose when I build mine...LOL!!

Is that one of your steel rim wheels Serzh?
What PE set would you suggest for the fuel tank straps?

Very bad news my friends. In the beginning of December S e r z h has passed away after a long illness. Rest in peace my friend. Man that is indeed terrible news Neo. He came back early last year when I reached out to him and after that I couldn't reach him. Thank you for letting all of us here know what happened to him. A truly gifted modeler in every aspect and he's going to be missed here.
