With the Star wars lander in a heavy "casting and gluing" stage, I'm going to pass a few hours in building Revell's Airbus 320. Wing Nut already has his Zvezda A321(20 feet longer than the standard A320)well under way. But he and I got to exchanging about the kits. Since I've had the Revell version in the stash for a few months, decided to give it a go.
I'll be using a set from a place called Pointerdog7
Just like Wing Nut, I also blocked out the windows. I used CA glue and dental acrylic. In retrospect, casting resin would have been faster, neater and easier....live and learn. The interior surfaces were painted black as I am planning to go with clear cockpit windows for now.
I don't like it when manufacturers do shite like this. Revell wishes to save money on their manufacturing process. OK. I get that. But they also produce this kit as the longer A321. The 321 has some changes to the flap system which the shorter, lighter A319 and A320 do not have. So they just designed a "one size fits all" flap system and hoped their customers wouldn't notice it was incorrect. FK you, Revell! I'll have to shave these off and fill in the panel lines if a want a wing accurate to the 320.
So this will gradually move along as I wait for things to dry and cure on the main Star wars build. Thanks for stopping by! John

Well you know I am going to be watching. I did notice that about the wings. A little birdie told me about the changes made for the 321 The resin for the windows was fast no doubt but 1 end of 1 side detached from handling the fuselage. after getting it back in place I ran some thin CA around the edges to hold it in place and was a bit more careful about too much pressure on the fuselage when sanding. If it popped off again once closed up... we... I don't even want to go there. To answer your question in the other thread, the sharklets are from www.brazmodels.com, part # BZ4090. If you've never ordered from them it's a little different to complete the order. After going through the process the confirmation email you will get is also the invoice. You have to click "pay now" at the bottom. It cost me a few days since I didn't realize that and finally noticed it never appear d in my PayPal account.

You caught them redhanded John! Wouldn't be the first time they pulled something like this either...the Frontier markings are a cool choice, nice!
