Merci! Maybe not born, Im always learning - by googling, by trial and error and from other modelers. For example how saurians look like, especially their patterns. From some parts of the bit box I managed to create a very... uhm... uncomon member of the army: a winged samurai on a baby-godzilla. The little saurian itself and the rider is a dark elf originally, except his head and his wings (they come from dark eldar kit). And I slightly changed his weapon. Found out that our quite common Zauneidechse (sand lizard) has a very interesting pattern that Id like to paint for him.

Many thanks. 41 is the number of the day - its the amount of figures so far (excluding skeletons etc. used as base material). May the game of the witch throne begin. Not tomorrow, Ill pause the diorama for a while I think, just because we have loads to do with house building and the Armies on Parade deadline (October 2017) - plenty of time left, no need to rush through! Think Ill start another project to keep me a bit busy with modeling. See you later! Four new skeleton warriors repainted skull base (figure not yet completely painted) The shrine inside the ruin - thats where the throne will be later Yes - the diorama IS big. So big that even the ruler is too small.

Depends. Most of them are made from plastic, with some exceptions like the last one - these are recasts made from resin. GW resin is a bit soft and needs special treatment - nevertheless its very goods in detail and fun to paint.

Good evening. Finally started the ladies on the throne. The painting of their clothing is dome by brush and lots of layers in red and violet - there will be more.
