Chaos and jpc: You can NEVER have enough 190's and the armor acquisitions are cool too. Great scores!! Chaos--Terrific score on that Haunebu!!!!!!
OK gang, a couple of weeks ago I purchased the Antique Garage Set:
The more I looked at the walls and the flooring , the more I didn't like the paper gloss "laminate" that was supposed to replicate the flooring and the walls. I already had the original Fujimi Garage set from 20 years ago in my stash but couldn't use the flooring or corner posts due to the floor sagging and the posts severely bent. However the new garage floor in the Antique set isn't sagging nor are the corner posts warped. I'll be going with the walls and tile flooring from this kit on the Antique floor base:
I acquired a Snap-On tool box that will replace the rinky dinky one in the Fujimi tool set kit that I already have in the stash:
I'll be placing a laptop and some burgers and fries on the tool box table top.

Just spent a week in Melbourne - ( Australia ) There are a couple of good model shops I visit when there. I picked up all the new Miniart accessory sets that have recently been released that were on my " To Get " list. Very pleased with them. Also got these. The Noch stuff is for model trains. They do some great little plants including ferns in Laser Cut paper.

Also are the tracks metal or plastic? The railroad track gives me an idea for a diorama (assuming it's long enough) gary

Sorry I know nothing about trains. Parts ( 136 Parts ) are all plastic. Very detailed and these kits are not expensive. Box says Length 686 mm. Hope this info helps.

Nice haul there mate! I particularly like the field kitchen!! Cheers Andrew - been after it for a while, but at the 20odd quid it usually costs I consider it over-priced. Not counting the multi-part wheels and so-so figures it's only one medium-sized sprue.

Somewhere along the way Indochina changed over to the wider rail system. Yet 90% wouldn't know the difference. I'll order in two kits. ( 27" is enough for a couple dioramas) gary

New at my Stash. Nice. One of the guys at the model club brought his boxed kit in last month. He couldn't wait for it to come here so bought it direct from over the water. Looks an impressive kit, very tempted myself.

well I did it yesterday, and found a sd.kfz.138/1-SIG 33/1. Wasn't the one I wanted, but couldn't pass it up as it was marked down 25%. Really wanted the 150cm gunned version. They used a dozen in Africa, and I've got some nice photos in a book to go by. Also picked up another Panzer IIIH (Tauchpanzer).

picked another four kits this week, and now we have a space shortage!!!
1. the AMK MIG31 upgraded kit is on the way. I had it on order from one supplier for six months! A guy told me to try another shop, and they had it for almost $20 cheaper than the other guy. plus it was in stock!
2. Tamiya Brewster Buffalo. Been wanting this kit for awhile to do a very early WWII build.
3. Minniart GAZ truck. Kit looks nice, but how I'll build it is up in the air
4. Panda Marder I. Not sure what I'll do with it, but I like Marders
5. OK so I don't count well! I saw two of the new Revell ME262B1/u1 night fighters at Hobby Town. Grabbed one, and this maybe Revell's molding yet. Very fine panel lines, and two nice looking Jump 004 engines that look the part for a change. I already like it better than the Trumpeter 262 gary

They're a bit over-engineered, but if you take your time the turn into very nice models. The Panda kit has a few problems according to a German article I just read, worst one being that the slats in the engine covers are the wrong way around. Heard good things about the Revell kit - think they got awarded 'Model of the Year' at Nuremberg toy Fare

I've been watching Tower Hobbies' website like a hawk and they aren't listed yet! The one at Southport Road and Emerson Ave. in Indianapolis. The kit is a little better than the FW190f8, but not a lot better. I paid a tick under $36 for it, and it would have been a $100 Tamigawa kit. Now I'm waiting for the single seat version! Just a small note: I never took the kit spru's out of the plastic bags (I'd loose me head if it were not attached), but the first thing I noticed was the very fine panel lines. Not every 262 had the bondo'd panel lines contrary to popular belief. The clear parts are very nice, but not as nice as the 190 kit in my book. Looks like it comes with two sets of front wheels and tires. Not sure about the mains. The gun pack goes together in a modular kit. Kinda looks like there are several modular units built up to fit inside the airframe. I did see some circular election spots on the inside of the nacelle covers. Cockpit looks very nice. Just looks like another great kit. gary

Heard good things about the Revell kit - think they got awarded 'Model of the Year' at Nuremberg toy Fare mine is the basic pick up truck. What I'll do with it, I don't know. Looking at the kit's make up, I think it'd be a great one to seriously beat up and weather. I bought it on a whim as it was in the 50% off pile. Perhaps a badly beat up truck loaded with Siberian riders off loading to a T34 tank. I don't know. Know very little about a Marder I. gary
