Thanks Martyn and Mark. The layers are what take the longest. T get the most out of this model there are already three filters and washes and chipping in between. Well at least I think it adds depth or dimension to the model. Will have some pics up today.

That's quite a teaser for sure Rob ! Well done !
I've stopped modelling recently as you know but I hope to restart in september. I miss the hobby too much to stop. Now I'm enjoying my wife and kids, family and friends. I keep an eye on the forum and it's good to feel the drive of the people here ! Keep up the good work and greeting from Belgium to you all !

Not a prob jackwagon. G it's good to have you stopping by now and then. Hope all is well with you and the family.
@ jackwagon, sorry mate, but no SBS for any of the four. Those are needed for something else so no sense in having it double. Just a pic or two to show where they stand, and of course a final pic.

can never have enough to add texture, depth and overall realistic effects. I've added yet another two light filters and subtle chipping to create worn and sun bleached effects.

Sorry for the very late reply fellas, and thanks for the kind words and for still popping in to check out the builds. I haven't had much bench time except for last night. I was trying to clear things and make room, then dicided to go back to some shelf queens that really need to get done and out of the way. I started on the M51 IDF and then noticed the tracks, which suck to clean and put together, don't fit the sprocket very well. It's too tight and ends up bending and breaking the links. Sooooo I will go with the kit supplied tracks and call it a day. This build has been more a headache than anything else. With the M51 put aside for when I have patience for it, I broke out the T-62. I used the AK rust set to re-apply some rust and then it was onto painting and the start of the chipping. First rust, clear coat, green original color and some chipping, worn effects, then base color and camo. Started to chip the turret. Once all the chipping is done then onto washes and filters. Will try to get back to this when I get bench time in. This and some others will get finished this summer and then listed on ebay.......they need to get out of here to make room for more cool projects that need the space.

Gents, thank you kindly for the comments and glad to hear your liking the T-62. Will try to get more done and then post some pics before the actual weathering starts.
