Working the usual 10-finger magic here Dierk, nice to see you haven't gained any sanity since I was last able to check in.

Sanity amongst our group is a rare and unnecessary option.

Working the usual 10-finger magic here Dierk, nice to see you haven't gained any sanity since I was last able to check in. Beyond a certain point modelling and sanity become mutually exclusive - ever tried explaining our hobby to someone who hasn't been infected? I'm guessing this is a riveting tool - still needs more clean-up, I think the mould was getting tired as there was a big blob of resin filling the opening. Although the instructions don't call for it, I'm going to add a lever - there must have been some sort of mechanism to bring the riveter (if that's what it is) into contact with whatever was being riveted: I didn't like how the instructions suggested you deal with the handle (glue a bit of wire onto the vice and glue a resin bobble at the end of the wire) so drilled through using a 0.4mm bit. Added a blob of Bondic to the end of a 0.32 length of wire, insert into the hole, add another blob to the other end. Vice is just placed on the cupboard for demonstration porpoises: I'm going to do the same to the other vice, as the lever looks totally out of scale by comparison. The cupboard only has three legs - one corner is to sit on the wheel-arch. Naturally, the legs were too long and the material is very thin, so I had some sphincter-clenching moments shortening them: More soon I hope.

Glad you're liking it PJ and Leon! So, here's version two of the vice: And the riveter with lever and hose added: That's it for now.

Thanks Andy and Todd! If you think that was a patience-tester, you ain't seen nothing yet! Spent the last couple of days detail-painting the cupboards. First one is a wooden/metal box. The big paint chip on the top is actually a casting fault that I feared would cause irreperable damage if I tried to remove it: This is another non-fixed item, that gets stored in the space between the wheel arches when traveling, so I gave it a bit more of a hammering: This one will be propped up on the back of the left wheel arch: And this one of the front of the same arch: Cupboard with riveter: Pretty happy with how they turned out, hope you like 'em too.

That huge scratch on the top looks great. Looks like something heavy was dragged across the top, that little flaw in the casting turned out perfect, great use of it instead of just totally removing it

(Stop finishing builds...your making me look bad) Cheers PJ! Don't worry, it's nowhere near finished and I have more shelf-queens than you can shake a stick at Just to give you an idea of what the interior's going to look like some dry-fit pics: And stored: Floor's going to get painted 4BO but will be scuffed, so I want the wood to show through. Enjoy

Hi mate
Sorry I've been around much recently to follow your progress on this.
I've got to say they work looks absolutely fantastic so far and the way you saved that moulding fault was brilliant.
All the best.
Andrew
