Because I don't have nearly enough already, there's this Airliners International show coming up in about 3 weeks. I wasn't sure I wanted to build it. But decided that if I was going to do something, I should get a move on. I'm hoping to complete this in about a week due to a simple paint scheme and low parts count. This will need to be converted to a civilian cargo. But that should be pretty straightforward.

That's one way to tame this beast John! Glad it worked out.

Nice start!
Are you going to be adding a full L-1 door or are you keeping the the military crew hatch?
Also will you replace the CFM's with the correct JT3D engines? I think the CFM's were only on KC-135's, though I could be wrong.

And you are not wrong about the CFMs. I should have mentioned that this is being built for the, "what if" category in an upcoming show. An old school original, here: A small all gap here. But these IRTL kits are just the best, aren't they!
Bucket 'O motors as well as a lot of extra plastic to stiffen the "wobble wings". Did I mention how well thought out the IRTL kits can be?
