Started this awhile ago and cannot find the original thread here so... Back to tanks YES! I did promise myself to complete at least one shelf queen before starting something new and this is what it looks like at the time of this post 001 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 002 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr Got a way to go but it's an acceptable base so far Regards, Mark

Thank you gents Washes, pinwash and flatcoat on. Whitish grey ashy deposits simulating burnt paint are next as well as another raw umber wash or two for the tracks as they are still too bright 003 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 005 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr Come base time this'll have company; y'all may recall this one also 004 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr Disposal of two shelf queens in one throw yeah buddy Regards, Mark

Thanks T Burnt phase finished unless I think of something else to do with it. Dirt and dust will follow just before installation onto whatever base I dream up 008 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 007 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 006 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 005 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 004 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 003 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr I can now say that Fruil tracks, at least in this size, are not the horror story I've been led to believe they were tedious but no worse than some plastic sets I've done Regards, Mark
