I'll have to keep an eye on this one. I have a recent repop of an ancient Lindberg Hot Rod (with some short-shot components) which is going to require a lot of work to make it look anything like tolerable. It will be interesting to see how a state-of-the-art kit goes together. I find when following builds it helps to have a set of the instructions available, the ones for this kit are available here: manuals.hobbico.com/rmx/85-4995.pdfRegards, M

Something to watch out for are sink marks on the frame rails.

Lucky man, I had to add approx. 1/8th" of filler to the frame in my kit. Squadron white stuff doesn't flex very well, so I ended up using an epoxy filler.

I checked again and it appears I have gotten away without that issue. Thankfully.

Well after a great deal of time, way too much time, in the background this build finally received some attention. This is the Revell 1/25 Stacey David Rat Roaster. The body paint is Model Master Pearl Green Metal Flake. The engine is complete minus the exhausts. We do have a rolling chassis. And even some work on the Interior of the tub. Quick and somewhat painless. More to come. All comments, critiques, and criticism are encouraged Joe

A nice, clean build; another fine example of making a kit look good with sound techniques rather than extensive modifications (although both approaches are to be applauded).

You should do another auto project and go all the way out Joe. You'd do good at it!
