Hey all ! Havent been putting up much in the way of build stuff lately. Couple of home projects and some other stuff has kept my work to small projects and weathering. One of those BIG projects was trying to move my mancave forward. My basements been a den of despair and has been harboring crap that needed to go for about 15 years. Rented us a 15 yard dumpster a couple months ago and started throwing stuff OUT! While I was doing that, I finished a wall in my man cave and raised the floor on half of the room. Built a new desk, re-habbed the old one, and these are the "results". I love Oak, and 3/4 oak plywood is my media here.
This is the old setup. It was a right angle desk, that I could never seem to keep clean..
To the right of the new desk is storage space for some of my bigger power tools. These will be taken down and used as needed.
The NEW desk, with some parts of the old. This will be my primary build spot, one that I try to avoid doing alot of "Dirty" work. I was never a fan of reference material, but thats changed too as you can see
