I 've been working for the last 2 weeks on a diorama about a lonely robot after all humans are gone. Hopefully I 'll finish it in the next months without a break , as I usually do with my subjects . Scratchbuilding-kitbashing as always for that kind of models.

I forgot to mention that the scale is 54mm, not a scale that I 'm familiar with. Anyway, it's a way to test new things.

Good work with the fibre optics. I'll be doing that shortly too.

Hopefully it won't involve an inflatable rubber lady robot... It's got to be easier on the eye than your usual 1:160 scale, except there will be the temptation to add in all that extra detail...
Regards,

Almost done "I miss my masters" dio.
"After the annihilation of mankind and most of the animal species, one of the few surviving utility bots remembers the days that gone by".

It's got that touch of Shakespeare's Hamlet about it, nice juxtaposition!

@kosta, though your dioramas somewhat goes against my psyche, I have to admit they do portray the imagined scene immediately after a holocaust. Very well done indeed.
What goes against my psyche is despair and hopelessness. Even after a bush fire, where everything is black and ashen, bright green shoots sprout here and there to give rise of hope. But I suppose radiation kills everything at deeper levels.
What happened to the robot's lights?

Thanks a lot for your kind words. What happened to the robot's lights? These are the missing details. I 've left the circuit out and I 'm gonna connect it sooner or later.

Almost done "I miss my masters" dio. "After the annihilation of mankind and most of the animal species, one of the few surviving utility bots remembers the days that gone by". "IS THIS MY MASTER?" Well done on your build, Kostos. Lovecraft would have liked it.
