While researching the KV-07 and U-19, I came across the ZiK-20 Assault Gun. The goal was to mount a 152mm gun into the hull of a KV-7 since that design path was a failure. It's an interesting design. Most of the ammo was stored in the floor and the fuel tanks in the front corners of the casemate. It has a crew of 6. There are only a few drawings of the ZIK-20. Most of them don't match up to one another so I have had to adjust some of the features to line up. As far as I know, there is no top down drawing of the roof plate. The locations for the top hatch, vent, rotating periscope, and fuel caps are interpreted from cross-sections. I added the periscope sketches where possible, added a second crew hatch and rear loading hatch. An article about the development can be found here: ZIK-20 Assault GunHere are a few CAD images of progress I may not start the actual build on this for a long time but wanted to share some progress.

That looks fantastic, a shame to have to paint it. Thanks! I wish I could have left the 3D printed parts in natural tan for show but they are UV sensitive even after cure so tend to warp without a coat of paint. May just leave it like this for a while.

After much delay and issue with dusty overspray from the primer, I have some paint on the Zik-20

spottet this on Facebook, and after seing I just had to do some reading up on it . Man that is way cool, and super job and painting/weathering . After seing it I really would like to get it printed in 1/16 scale fora rc modell later on . Those parts you sent off to be printed ( seen on the ipms usa forum) did you draw them yourself, ore did you find the files online ?

Sollie - Thanks. I drew the files myself based off drawings I found online. I made some changes to the roof layout since the various views didn't match and the drawings were never finalized anyway.
383 - Thanks man!!!
