It was but not quite as exhilarating as running it on an R1 I'd imagine! Would love to see it. Those folks used to blister that road in the past. Still do a bit, but the sheriffs have started to patrol it more in recent years.

If that’s the case, I can see why the Sheriffs have increased their patrolling… it’s recipe for fatalities of fools who think that they own the road and forget about the presence of others. Too much paperwork on a fatal collision.

I 100% agree, and I'm glad to see their presence more on the Dragon. The state has also banned 18-wheelers on the road, yet many still blindly follow their GPS directions and ignore the posted signage along the way. It's impossible for them to navigate it without fully blocking both lanes in many of the turns.

I can imagine that with the truckers... they do present their own special enforcement challenges...

Good idea for a thread! User name is nothing fancy... creading 'C' for Charles and Reading is my surname The avatar is the squadron insignia of the 487th Fighter Squadron, 8th AF. My Father flew P-51's with that squadron during WW2. My way of remembering.
Cheers, C.

One in his brand new mustang mach 1 and the other on his Ducati. Neither on was being crazy or stupid. Just chose the wrong place to accelerate with a bit of spirit. Both also said it was a blast to run.

I picked it up a ways back and got rid of my cruiser as this weighs half the amount and with my spine issues along with shoulders it's much easier for me to maneuver around. I love this thing

Very nice ride! I took my friends CBR for spin a while back and really loved it. It's a whole different feel and I think it would get me in trouble PDQ.

I’m reading more and more of the general posts while on vacation, relaxing! Came across this one. Just about through page 1 so far and had to jump in and add mine. My avatar changes up on some irregular basis. I like putting up either past builds or whatever I just finished based on my mood at any given time. My moniker is from my car racing days…gone once the first kid hit driving age and i had to pay for insurance lol for 20 years it’s been all show and no-go 🚧 i mostly did drag racing and had a 2001 Formula Firebird. I used to love Mustangs but GM’s LS1 was too strong for them so i switched and used to beat the Cobra Mustangs quite a lot, thus TheMongoose was born!

If your kids are anything like mine when it comes to driving, the saying of "do as I say not as I do" was muttered quite a bit when they first got their licenses.
