Glad to see you here! Any recent additions to the guitar collection? You, as well! It has been a few years since adding anything new. Truth be told...after the pinched nerve in my neck, and inability to play for a while. I got back to about 75% of being able to play like I did before...but I have nowhere to put it (band, playing live, etc.). I can't just play to entertain myself, so I hardly even play at all anymore. I rev up the stack from time to time, and play just long enough to think "I kinda really suck at this now"...

Glad to see you're still sniffing glue. You gotta show us an update of your cave. I was in awe the first time I'll try and get on that tonight. (I'll put it in the "Catching up" thread...Gallery)

Right??!! I almost forgot about that!! I've used his trick with aluminum cans many a time in this hobby. Thanks for that tip again Jeremy!! I did forget about that!!! I still have part of a can by the bench...haven't used any in quite some time. For a while you were on a good kick with that. I had a Ford Maverick build that I couldn't figure out the engine bay sides on and I thought back to the whole aluminum can trick and it worked like a charm. Made possible.....all because of YOU.

Jeremy! So great to see you! I have missed you so much! I'm sorry about your dad, I'll keep you both in my prayers. I am also thrilled to see your workbench and latest models!

I understand, I haven't been able to just play for myself for a long time. I've sold everything but my hell raiser and a peavey XXX

Pain is nothing new...it's just that there's more of it in more places! Went through a good 5 years with a pinched sciatic...I tell ya, that put me on the ground a few times! That was back before I even hit 30. Jacked up my right shoulder during that time too. Once I was actually feeling good and got into a job that didn't hurt so much, along came the neck nerve. That's been gone for a while...but now both shoulders, knees, hip occasionally...hell, if it aint one thing it's two or three! So it goes, I guess! I'm still tickin' and can still smile every day!

Yeesh!! Sounds like you've been through enough already but you've got a terrific attitude through it all. My back has acted up a time or two in the last couple of years and now I've been diagnosed with AFib to which I have a heart ablation procedure to go through in late February. Like you said......if it aint one thing, it's two or three. lol

Welcome aboard… the name seems familiar, but I’d gone MIA for several years and am catching up with the gang, past and present, too. I look forward to seeing your work. I would venture a guess that many of us are like you, in not producing as many kits as we once did…and who knows, maybe we’ll surpass the past, right?!? Sorry to hear about your dad… that’s so hard to deal with. And do try and make time for the guitar, man… I’m in the same struggle, but it’s an important thing to reclaim if you can.

It's been a good 10 years, since, but I did do 50 in a year! I certainly don't have that kind of time anymore...and I've got money for other thing now, too!!! Were you under another name, in the past?

It took me a year and a half after cervical fusion to bar chord again... getting older and more broken sucks but I still love playing even if it's just to myself or the dogs by my feet. Last count I have 16 guitars (acoustic and electric) also a bass, a mandolin and a lap steel
