The 1/16 King Tiger is the obvious answer here! Mmmmmm, not yet. There's a story behind the King Tiger. You wouldn't want it..horribke kit, big, heavy, have pre assembled aftermarket metal tracks, 2 muzzle brake ootions, full interior, absolutely HORRIBLE ......although I do unfortunalety fall for strong Jedi mind tricks.....and rare kits....from time to time Pre-assembled aftermarket metal tracks for a 1/16 KT? Do I want to know what those cost? Shame there weren't a big-scale GB or something like that to give one that extra motivation needed to tackle such a kit.

Let me know if there's anything in particular that you sold that you're trying to get back. Odds are good that I have one in the stash...maybe two, if we're lucky! Hahaha

LOL, those tracks were from a car modeler who just happened to be in the right place at the right time. Someone took the time to pin them then??? Got'em for 30bucks . No idea who has a big scale build Check out BSGB main thread for the story behind my King Tiger.

Lyle, if you ever want to part with one of those 1/48 C-130s.... Shoot, man - I've got an H I could part with (Italeri 843). I'd rather it go to someone on here instead of Ebay. Make me an offer!

I'm pretty torn here. One of the Tamiya 'Bolts would be fab to see built...but there's the MG Astray red frame! Oooooh, and a Hasegawa Pete! Haha, the Pete will likely be this summer some time. Man I wanna build that Astray… But Gundam with all their parts make me a little crazy

My 1/48 WW2 stash... Nice! I can't wait to see you tackle that Tiger with interior one day... That was, maybe still is, on the short list. So may be in the coming days! Last I knew...Tiger was supposed to be right after a B-26 (commission jobs)...and the B-26 is pretty close to going into the paint shop!

This is from several years ago. It was in one closet. Back then I had just over 1100 kits. But then I discovered MFH and have since reduced the stash to just over 200.

That is impressive. I dunno Marc, I think you outstash me. I only have one of each in mine. I don't feel so bad now. Plus, now I have your photos to show SWMBO when she complains about no basement space and my buying habits - I can use you as a worse example. That IS beautiful, though!

Between you and Towgunner, no wonder my LHS is low on inventory. I'm seriously impressed. My little stash is embarrassingly small compared to this stash.

A bunch of these were your kits in a previous life! There are several (many?) "MT" stickers about the armor collection. Only one each? But, variants! Hahahaha

The vaaaaast majority of this was purchased second hand, either online, or at shows. I've never had a "true" LHS...Hobby Lobby is about it without me driving to Massachusetts (not exactly "local"!).

Absolutely Righteous!See? Somebody else who gets it! I love being in my stash. It's always fun perusing and comparing kits, letting people use it for research. And occasionally building stuff as well. Hah!

Keith, Thank You for stating up the obligatory stash thread. I was wondering when someone would eventually jump start this. It is always a thrill to not only see the size of folks stashes, but to also see all the cool kits that are squirreled away in said stashes. I get to see stuff I never even knew existed. This is just plain fun. Having looked at the stashes shared so far all I can say is WOW! You folks have some really impressive collections. Some are beyond my comprehension. I am in awe at Marc's, Carlos', Matt's and John's. Someone out there has to be in the Fortune 500 judging from the shear number of kits amongst our members. With that, it is time to share my stash. Mine is scattered all about my hobby room. On shelves, in cabinets and stuffed in the closet. I also have a number in totes stashed at my mom's house until I get my storage school bus reorganized. You will also notice that I have post it notes on a number of my kits. This how I keep track what AM parts I have in each individual kit. Most of my car kits: Ship kits. Mostly 1/350: 1/72 aircraft: 1/144 aircraft and some 1/48 armor: 1/72 USN aircraft & 1/144 aircraft: Assortment of 1/700 ships, 1/72 floating planes, WWI aircraft, 1/72 modern USSR and some 1/32 planes: Assorted aircraft: 1/700 ships and the 1/48 Corsair collection: Italian and Swedish aircraft. Some USN: 1/48 Japanese WWII: 1/72 modern: 1/48 US WWII and some 1/72 stuff: 1/72 multi engine and 1/48 aircraft: 1/48 aircraft: More 1/48 aircraft: 1/35 armor: 1/48 armor and 1/25 F1: Assorted accessories for aircraft and armor: 1/72 & 1/48 armor: And these totes are filled with a sundry of different kits. These are mainly kits that I will be putting up for sale in order to thin the stash. Not all mind you. About 50+ kits I'm guessing: There's a few stragglers I didn't take pics of, but these is the gist of it. I hope you enjoy perusing my stash. Cheers!
