Are... are...are those potatoes beside him? Yes....yes.....yes they are potatoes. Well let me tell you a story . Back in 1976 a newly qualified Mobile Support Equipment Operator was operating a large field forklift while loading some skids of 105 shells in the back of a 5 ton. While traveling from depot to truck he failed to raise the forks high enough causing the skid to strike a raised section of pavement which tipped the load which in turn broke the straps holding in the wooden crates onto the pallet. Three crates fell to the ground, split open and 6 shells went merrily rolling across the lot right in front of the supply Sergeant Major. This resulted in 4 shells (2 were OK) that were deemed damaged beyond safe use and had to be taken to the range and blown up. The punishment for this infraction was a week of potato peeling during off time. The poor guy had to sit beside the automatic peeling machine and do them by hand for two hours a day. He had blisters for a week after that.

Looking real good! Beautiful work on the Goat & stowage! But you may want to swap out the driver figure, as that uniform, body armor, and helmet type was not worn during the OD paint & white stars era.

That is EXACTLY what I was going to say! First guy with the new kit and old equipment that hasn't been painted yet. It happens far more often than some purists would like to see. (Not you Stick I know you know)

MERDC camo on vehicles came along long before the woodland BDUs... then Kevlar vests & helmets a few years after the BDUs entered service... but it aint my rodeo, so no worries here

Wow looks great. Gear adds to any model, but cargo haulers really benefit from having something to haul, really adds some life to it.
