This WW1 Trench diorama was created a few years back using Jon Smith Modellbau figures. It is titled the "Thousand Yard Stare" and depicts war weary German soldiers in a second line trench. Starting with the few supplied plaster trench walls I built up the rest of the trench with blue foam board, Basswood, cut branches and added new walls and duck boards and created the groundwork using Celluclay, backyard dirt, 2-part epoxy putty, and anything else that I could find that looked right! This project took over a year to complete! Figures painted with Vallejo.
ESTRAGON: I can't go on like this. VLADIMIR: That's what you think.
pantherf: Yeah, I know. Raining here all day! Not like last Thursday but just enough to piss you off.

Bat242: Have bought the Avionix cockpit set for the Trumpeter A-6A from Squadron. 2 thumbs up on the set. Trying to wrap up a FSM group build with my Airfix FW-190 before going onto my next project. The Intruder is high on the list. BTW, it was 92 here in Tucson

pantherf: After hitting 77 degrees here yesterday, it poured like cats and dogs last night! Cooler temps again but then the weekend a slight warming trend and WHO KNOWS what the following week will bring! LOL STILL working on the engine!

pantherf: Okay, I went 'dumpster diving' in our large trash receptacle and I retrieved the little Italian tankette kit. After what Tony was going to do (which kinda irked me) I decided to seal it up and forget the interior.
