so here's Casey ;D well, since the Flakpanzer has the same running gear and tracks as the Pz 38 (t). I guess you can choose between Friul ATL13, ATL15 or if you want something cool the Hetzer Winterketten (dunno if it was really fitted on the Flakpanzer 38(t) (Gepard is btw a designation which was never used by the Germans) - but it looks cool I think) ATL93 for the Modelkasten branche you should refer to Bill though ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) Hope this helped a bit ^^ Cheers

In town today I decided to grab 2 more Series 7 Brushes to round out my set from 000 to 2. So now have 000, 00, 0, 1, 2. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) ![](http://i807.photobucket.com/albums/yy359/spud642/_MG_4656_zps03e306fa.jpg)

Well folks, thought I would share with you my groovy Xmas stash! Sorry, no armour in this lot, so if the eyes glaze over on all you track guys, I'll understand!! ;D Here's the haul..... ![](http://i931.photobucket.com/albums/ad154/venomf22/Xmas%202012%20Stash/P1040496.jpg) First up, the Eduard MiG-21 MF in 1/48. This kit is simply THE best MiG-21 in 1/48 (and probably any scale) bar none! I have some smashing decals to go with this kit too! ![](http://i931.photobucket.com/albums/ad154/venomf22/Xmas%202012%20Stash/P1040498.jpg) Next up, Zvezda's sublime Mi-24A in 1/72. This kit includes (among other things) detailed engines, engine bays and transmission with opening hatches... ![](http://i931.photobucket.com/albums/ad154/venomf22/Xmas%202012%20Stash/P1040497.jpg) Been eying this one off for a while. War Machine from the Iron Man franchise. I think this may be my first crack at lighting something up, tho when that happens is anyone's guess!! ;D ![](http://i931.photobucket.com/albums/ad154/venomf22/Xmas%202012%20Stash/P1040499.jpg) Next up, the Idolmaster 1/48 F-22 from Hasegawa. Even though it has a hideous box, hideous decals, and a horrid plastic colour (need sunnies just to look at it!), it is exactly the same plastic as the "real" kit, and was about 1/3 of the cost! Even with the cost of aftermarket decals, I still come out miles ahead! Think I may go blind trying to build it tho!! ;D ![](http://i931.photobucket.com/albums/ad154/venomf22/Xmas%202012%20Stash/P1040500.jpg) ![](http://i931.photobucket.com/albums/ad154/venomf22/Xmas%202012%20Stash/P1040501.jpg) Finally, the 1/48 Hasegawa Idolmaster F-16C. Same level of putridness as the F-22, but at 10 bucks a pop, you will hear no complaints from me! An additional win which I was not aware of is that it contains all the sprues for both the normal and wide mouth intakes and the P&W and GE exhaust nozzles. This means I can build pretty much any F-16C Aggressor out there from this kit. Sweet!! I have a bucket load of Aggressor decals, so this is a big win! Got two of these kits!! ![](http://i931.photobucket.com/albums/ad154/venomf22/Xmas%202012%20Stash/P1040502.jpg) ![](http://i931.photobucket.com/albums/ad154/venomf22/Xmas%202012%20Stash/P1040503.jpg) Thanks to my gorgeous wife for an awesome Chrissy prezzie!! ;D Cheers, Sam ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png)

Nice stuff Spud, I really love the 7 Series, well worth the money indeed. I got a 1,2 and 3 but practically only use the 1 all the time, for smaller stuff as well as bigger. Recently got a 7 Series Miniature 1, they are even easier to work with ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) a pink Raptor ey...well, 2013 can't get any better than this ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) ;D Cheers

Wouts - Yeah I know, pretty hard to top a pink Raptor hey? ;D Dicky - Yep, they were all a bargain price, especially the "girly" planes! I will be sure to keep an eye out for any manga based armour at bargain basement prices. If I find any, you'll be the first to know!! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Gary - Yeah, I know, they're pretty girly alright! A few of the guys at the club meeting on Saturday gave me a ribbing for them too!! ;D But at $23 for the Raptor and $10 each for the F-16's, I can definitely put up with the girly bits! Anyway, some lovely grey primer should cover up the evidence pretty quick smart! ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) I will probably put the decals on a crappy old Italeri kit or somethin' for my little girl, she will love it! And yes, the Hind does indeed rock! ;D Cheers, Sam ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png)

Spud where did you get the series 7 from? Looks like they're something not very easy to find at reasonable postage price... Venom what a wonderful haul, those idol wingies are a real bargain... John nice jeep ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

thanks fellas, I agree, Alpine figs are great. I was especially interested in the grenadier with the MP44 but the sets are a bit cheaper overall than seperate figs. And that Joseph Diefenthal fig is great as well. jackwagon, I agree, SKP have some great stuff. Pitty their set for the Merkava IV was a miss though...Most of the lenses provided didn't have the correct sizes to fit properly...I ended up only using the ones for the headlights ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png) Cheers
