Hi Jack, Great work on the old academy Mk3. Looks like me and you are both trying to teach the old dogs new tricks. Well done man! Gary

wbill - thanks for dropping by, glad you like the detailing though it's time consuming I do enjoy to give these old kits a makeover and see what can be done to them with some patience ;D

Just found this great thread. Great build as I agree with DickyF's comment. Why throw away old kits if you can just work on it more and replace with better parts readily available in the market. I think I saw the actual MK3 while I was in Denmark two summers ago. Yes, we love your little country and we spent 11 great days there.... maybe you can confirm if its the same tank? Here's pics in case you are interested... My boys and deaf Danish exchange student who stayed with us for a year in America... Where was it? At some Cold War relic site 1 hour outside Korsor... You should visit that place if you haven't. I will be following rest of your build.

Cool! For sure I don't know much about post-WWII armor and I am still learning. Looking forward to your updates on this. And don't be surprised we will return to Denmark in few years...

Very nice progress jack, going to almost be a shame to paint her but the detail work you're putting in will still show through in the end.
