Haven't seen one of these in ages. Nice choice ER. Should be an easy build, typical Tamiya. Those tracks I am sure you will replace. Sorry, I just don't like those Tammy tracks...lol

Thanks Bill!! Kangaroo Update: Basically the kit is shake and bake but its riddled with Holes I mean injection marks and mold seam, since most the injection mold is not visible decided to cement most of the parts after tight fitting. This is where I stand on the hull waiting to dry some parts here's the bits and pieces of the radar and turret. Thanks for checking Cheers!!! ER

Good stuff! Never seen the Gepard in a build. Classic 70's Tamiya. Amazing how good they look when well built!

Nemo, the kit manufactured date was in the late 70's but the fit issues is minimal, just riddled with mold seams and injection marks, no major repair needed, just hope the decal works. Thanks a lot for checking, Big G!!!

Making good progress ER, I can see why the guns would be fragile on this bad boy.

Sorry to miss this build, started with the base color of Tamiya Black Green on the hull, the turret will be last since a lot of repair needed to be done, the wheels and vinyl tracks (which Spud love to hate) were already painted with rubber black. Thanks for checking Cheers!!

Thanks Nemo, that's not all wait for the other one to be revive... have to put this back on the storage box since I run out of Nato green for the top coat, I only have time to buy my supplies on weekends will have to weather the tracks in the meantime and work with beast.

Bill you said it right, I do always had Tamiya Nato Colors in my staple but I'm also getting use to Gunze paints and Vallejo Air that Tamiya doesn't have Nemo already done with the wheels just need to let it dry before I could do some light weathering and wash on the crevices, its already 2AM here... I just need some shut eye, will post pics before I got to work. eth thanks for checking, appreciated Cheers!!
