Pigments look good Paul, makes for a good solid foundation to work from. Looking forward to seeing how the rest of the stuff you procured turns out. Can't beat that price for sure!

Tracks now completed (i.e. melted together) and base coated with a brown(ish) base coat. Follwed this up with a layer of pigments (again the Humbrol dark earth) that I then fixed in place with a black enamel based wash. Pics to follow later. Opinions on outcome will be graciuosly welcomed! P

Thank you all fellas jackwagon - you don't know how close you are to reality- but more of a silent treatment ripping of a new one I 've manged to recover it ( the tracks that is ) stripped them back, then painted with a mix of various Modelair brown tones, follwed up with a wash of black tone and once dried, drybrushing of vallejo gun metal. Then I popped the tracks onto the running gear and attached the idlers. More problems here as the tension seems to have pulled them a bit out of the alignment while at the same time still looking slack . So that'll be a job for later today (taking MRs H out shopping as a "treat" to make up for the tablecloth- and tomorrow is Paddys day so onthing sensible will be comming out of me for 24 hours Once i've sorted out the idler issue , I'll pop some pigments on the tracks to hopefully bring it all together. Pics to follow- off to NEXT P

Well I've decided to call it a day on this - before I go too far and make a dogs dinner of it all. I might at sometime put in on a base but here she is. Thanks to everyone for their input, coments and support during the build. Cheers P
