waaaah... wait... WHAT? No additional info of the used materials? No explanation of techniques? I mean, that looks just A-MA-ZING!!! How did you do that?

Simply friggin' tastic diorama, each item looks just per-fect ! From plants to rifles...stunning. Figures complete the scene, they fit in just great. A first prize winner on each event !!!

"I have looked at dozens and dozens and dozens of dios Heiner for real and in mags and online - the one thing that sets the top quality dios apart is the fact that you keep looking because every single facet of the build is interesting or is brilliantly executed, yours are definitely in that category, imaginative, brilliantly executed and above all interesting."
Have to agree with Dicky F on this.

This for me was the best surprise at Euro, it looked good in the photos as do many things on line, some as we saw at Euro were shockers on the day, but this was first class and I loved it it looks twice as good in the flesh I think it took Bronze in my humble opinion it should have been Gold it was a great bit of work loved it the weathering on the timber was outstanding

Saw the picture that it was at the show. Lucky you got to see it in person. Am with you... one of my favorites. Judges seems to be very picky...

many thanks for your nice comments deafpanzer and macmcconnell, you know , a modelling competition is like ice dancing ... 5,2 , 5,5 and so on. we have to live with that ! In Mol I won gold at euro bronce and in eindhoven nothing ..... so what ? Heiner

Hi there Heiner,
Missed this one in Veldhoven this year (and believe me: that's hard to do with such a beauty). But no medal? What class did you enter? I know competition in class 24 "diorama's Master" was hard, but even so...
But it's like a friend of mine (and you too) said: it's remains a human job...
Thanks for sharing!
greetings, Richard.

I got the impression they are quite severe at SMC. It's a great show though. My models which won several golds, silvers and bronzes at Belgian shows won absolutely nothing at Eindhoven. Was a bit of a shocker but hey, live goes on Quite crazy to read this gem got nothing there. It is a masterpiece indeed. Did you check out with the judges why they gave you bronze or nothing in the other case? I guess it's always interesting to know Cheers
