Bones not sure but I think I did one with my JSU 152. Will have to check. have to leave in a bit and won't be back until very late tonight, so tomorrow I'll check for you.
Cheers Leon.
Back to #358. There are a few things that I will be scratching for this and the other KV tanks. These are the lifting rings on the rear deck and the thingie that holds the tow cable on the hull sides. The kit part is very fragile and breaks when removed from the sprue, or are already broken. So I will make about a dozen that way I have some for the other KV tanks and won't have to hold things up making new ones. Same with the rings. I will post some pics of those and how they were done.

Thanks G, Multi and CS.
I have started and moved this thread to a sub board that way each KV gets shown, and also so they all don't get mixed up.....did that already...lol I will be doing more KV tanks after these 5, so there will be quite a few wrecked and knocked out KV tanks coming from my bench.

KV City! I'm curious about how your turnbuckles for the tow cables come out. I have one finished on the shelf and one still in the box that will both need this fix done.

Just my humble opinion and not a criticism but it would seem that we possibly have developed a situation where we have too many threads going that are on the same joint subject with no joint connection anymore.

Bones, I locked this one so now each model gets a thread. I figured a thread for each model so as not to get them confused with one another. A couple of the kits are very similar so it would be easy to mix them up, one of the reasons why I had to sort through the started kits and marked them in seperate containers with kit numbers. I had actually mixed the wrong turret parts on two of them.
ibear, I have some pics of those in the #358 thread. They turned out ok but we'll see once there is paint on them.

Rob
The one in the middle doesn't look like it took a lot of hits.

This method really seems to work! May have to give it a try.
