Ive heard the Meng kit gives more camo pattern options. I also saw where the Wheels are accurate where the Zvezda Wheels arent. I wont be able to start my T-90 till i get my new diggs settled. Probably end of August or first of Sept., but im itchin to build it!

Hi Paul - Firstly, yes I'm definitely joing this Group Build, try and stop me...it's just that I probably won't be modelling the Soviet T90...I will be converting mine to the upcoming next gen Indian MBT T90MS I build wheely and tracky things mainly Paul...I'm a post-war and Modern armour freak and love auto and bike builds too - I don't do wingies and floaty things are very few and far between despite being an ex-Navy man. My big thing is scratchbuilding and I'm pretty much unable to leave a kit OOB and will add details to almost everything. I also build 100% scratchbuild projects and do masters for model manufacturers - lookin' forward to catching you onsite and seein' yer stuff here on MSC Here's a catch-up of my recent builds: 20122013 Trumpeter? I LOVE TRUMPETER!!! Love the idea for the Indian T-90... No, I wouldn't try an stop you... checked out the 2 links and all I can say is WOW! Terrific builds especially the Twister and the one with the slat armor (name slips my tongue right now) for 2012 and the M51 and Fitter halftrack....nicely weathered too! Thanks for posting those... Paul

For those of you that may have missed it in the SUWYG thread...Picked up some bargain engine grills for the Zvezda T90 to replace the kits mesh efforts: RUH ROW....Dicky's pullin out all tha stops for this one fellas! I need to get me som of them. Much easier than workin with the mesh in the Zvesda kit.

Yes Dicky it was that 1 and the indian sand and orange camo caught my eye 2 i really want to try the T90MS i know there is a lot of scratch work would ya mind helping me along the process? i have found loads of ref for the MS seems to me to look better then a standard 90 too if i go for the MS version i wont bother with a Meng 90 as its a waste of money if most of it will be covered up ey? Why did they modify the T-90? More modern upgrades...?
Heard good things about the slat armor but is it much better than the reactive armor?

PT109 as far as i know and what i have read the upgrades to the T-90 is a prototype for two new tanks which will be T-95-T-99 and to the question of the armour comparisons i cant help ya there but from what i have seen the slat armour gives it a sleeker profile and im sure added thickness for better protection i hope this helps ya buddy but im sure there are many others here that can answer better then me Dan B

Are you guys going to do separate threads of your builds, or bunch them all together into one ? I'm not sure my bookmarked thread file can stand much more

O.K. Sounds good to me. I would have liked to take part in this one but I couldn't find a Little T90. I've got some of them lower numbered ones in the stash so I'll be all set when the time comes. Which at the rate you guys are going should be about 2020. Don't worry I'll be ready.
