T awesome work sir as always. I think it would be cool to have a mini jackwagon figure if you get one that looks like his avatar it could pass as an engineer Always wondered why the sub base was next to the Viagra plant here, eh go figure.... (Looking for the door and the light switch) Cheers, Thom

Doesn't take very much to get to this level, ey jackwagon & Thom???... Thanks Thom!! Well I will have to think about the figs, so I press on!! Tonight I began the Streaking Rust. While some of the rsty area dried a bit, I took out some Winter Streaking Grime. Kind of a nice mucky greenish color...perfect!! AT this point, once both dry for 10 or 15 minutes..could be longer, could be shorter, you want ot take a flat smooth bristled brush, humid with spirits and lightly stroke the added Streaky Grime, rust or whatever you are using in the desired direction...wipe brush in between strokes. The streaking begins to come out. Once dry, I will clear coat again and hit one more round of streaking rust, grime...maybe some slimy grime(s) in some nooks and crannies. More fun at this point just layering the weathering! Thanks for tuning in!!

Sorry jackwagon, I will make a better attempt to keep my mitts out of the picture. The left index is recovering from a battle with an utility knife..loosing...the right..no excuses...too many years of working with the hands!!
Thanks Andy!! And thanks for stopping by.
Thank you Boots!! I love the streaking grime...pin wash, washes, dark washes, streaking...on and on! Took me a while to get what I got. Picked them up at shows mostly, one or two, here or there!! Check Iain's site...shoot him an e-mail if you have any questions!!! He is the best to work with!!

Thank you G!! I appreciate you hanging out and the kind words!! Not too much more I would figure, on the rail car itself anyway. Here I applied some of my own pigments to the underside. This will never get seen, just one of those things. Looks a little bright here but will darken up when dry. Finally on the underside, I added a little AK Track Rust to the wheels and carriage. A somewhat pin wash of light rust to just the rusted areas. That is it for this tonight. I have a couple other project that need tending too, while this dries!! Thanks for stopping in!!

Hello.... I think we can finish this one up here..... I just need to add a couple of bare steel spots. First was the contact point on the Car's wheels. Next were a couple of wear-n-tear areas. I think now it is time to finally place the car on the base and give it a run for it's money. So what had started out as part of a small review for a Jib Crane, turned into an interesting testbed for different kind of Wedgie/Vignette. I had fun putting this together and thank you for joining me along the way! Until the next one.......
