AFV Club M109A6 Paladin instructions

I have had the pleasure of receiving three new kits directly from AFV Club – NM-116, Dieppe Churchill III and M109A6 Paladin.

I have already reviewed AFV Club's M109A2 here: modelerssocialclub.proboards.com/thread/3939/afv-club-m109a2-howitzer, so it will be interesting to check out the differences. At first glance this kit looks awesome. Compared to the previous M109A2, this kit has a completely revised turret, some clever self-adhesive non-slip panels for the hull top, a much bigger gun travel lock and different T154 tracks. The stowage baskets on the back of the turret are works of art.

I will be reviewing these three kits in more depth in the near future, with all the usual sprue shots and comments, but to wet your appetites I will post up separately the kit instructions and box tops.

Didn't the British use the A1 version? Do AFV Club make that one?

The Brits actually used the M109A2 so it shouldn't be too difficult to build it from the previous AFV Club kit. So the answer is yes!!

In fact, Kinetic released an M109A2 and one decal option and the box art shows a British M109A2 in Desert Storm markings.
