Gosh, this is way too cool not to follow this... you have my attention. Bet you are planning to include a female pilot for this...

Ohhh, the horror starts now... but I always wanted to do that one day! Guess you will need a lot of masking tapes for this...

Thanks Bill. Just taped the chick for his 1st layer (kind of beige/skin tone >> desert camo). Took me 2.5 hours.

WHERE did you find a Mad Cat? Is it the Horizon kit? Been after one of these for...forever. Hey Dupes, I am a huge fan of the MadCat (aka Timber Wolf) and I can tell you that this is definitely not the Horizon kit mate! I have the one I think you are talking about, it's made of vinyl and is 1/35 scale, so considerably bigger than this one here. Also, hideously expensive and rarer than rocking-horse poo. Last I checked (a number of years ago now) these were selling on evil-bay for around US$500 for an unbuilt kit!! I also have the 1/60 Armorcast kit which is now also long OOP. Not sure what that would be worth now, but when I got it new is cost me A$240. When I get my act together I will be making a copy of this and casting it in resin (like the original), as I don't want to build the one I have, and I also want to do an number of different paint schemes. Not sure what make this particular kit is, I would be keen to know. Too small to be 1/60, and much too small to be 1/35!! Right, sorry to hijack the thread, we now return you to your regularly scheduled programme!! Looks groovy TR, very Steam Punk!!! Will be keen to see you pull off that digital camouflage scheme too. Will look pretty sweet!! Cheers, Sam

Venom - let me know when you get around to making molds of your Armorcast kit...would love to help "defray the costs".

The walker is back on the bench. Looks nice from high distance somehow, but Im not too confident with the camo.
