Dan I love the base mate, the inclusion of the camo to frame the base is a great idea. What type of foam did you use for the cobbles? it's something I've tried before but have never got it right

Got to love the look of the base including its own three-tone pattern! Wheels and other gear add some nice details as well Dan.

Pete its XPS foam insulation grade i use left overs from work you can buy it in packs of 10 from homebase, B&Q any wood or laminate flooring shops

Have thought about this Dan but what i'm thinking is, maybe i'll have a go at a diorama when i finish the Firefly and have both of them in a French battle of the Boccage scene?
Thing is this would be my very first dio and to be honest i haven't a clue where to start lol. Think over the next few months i gather some pics of France in 1944 and work something out from there. Then with some help from you guys and this site, i'll gather up the stuff i need and give it a go mate. Do have a few ideas of what the composition of the dio would be, it's just creating it that seems daunting for me!

The dio idea sounds like a really cool one Stuart. You may want to check into the accuracy of having them both in a bocage setting though, your Panther and scheme are more appropriate to an Ardennes setting/timeframe vs. Normandy.

Quick update for ya all im not far from the finish line now a few more details to add then im outta here lol todays progress was all about painting bricks, wood,and builders aids and adding more weathering to the base hope ya like what i have been up to
