I'll be doing this one mostly OOB. Not sure as of now how I'm going to paint it up. I was thinking about going all Dicky on it and do a cut away to show the nice interior but I just can't bring myself to do it.

John, do as you got a mind to Man. Whatever you decide to do, I'm sure it will be well built

be a shame to hide the nice interior, you could just leave one side off

LOL, it does have a nice interior. We'll see when I get closer to sealing it up and that's going to be a while. How in the world I'm going to keep all this suspension work aligned and level is a mystery.

Dicky, you know Trumpeter, they've already got the alignment built in if you follow the instructions. Now figuring out how to do what they are showing takes a bit of head scratching on this one. Deano, I'm beginning to really like this Soviet armor stuff as well. Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks Bruce! The guns go in a turret that fills the big hole in the top.

Gosh, 120 parts just for the suspensions and stuff? Looking great... looking at the instructions it seems to be easier to follow than DML?

I know that people would complain if the suspension was over-simplified (probably me too), but sometimes it just seems like serious overkill when it takes that many parts and steps to build something that you won't even see behind the massive tires. I'd rather get to the painting as fast as possible!

Andy, yeah lots of parts and still a few more to add before I can start on the inside. Instructions? Much better than Dragon. They are a whole lot clearer. Leon, thanks! Dupes, I know what you mean. Those big tires are going to hide most of the work and there are some spots that probably could have been done simpler. Still,if I was doing something like Spud, those details underneath would come in handy.

Finally got the suspension and stuff done. Now on to the interior! Yep, looks like the tires are pretty much going to hide everything.

LOL Dicky! It is very detailed and I do like it but there are a few (mighty few) places they could have simplified and not detracted from the look. I'm just glad it doesn't have Dragons misdirections to try and put it all together.

Thanks Wouts! These kits sure are detailed. Dicky, the complicatedaness does delay it some but the painting is my favorite part. Robbo, good to have you aboard! A spacey looking thing ain't it?
