I'm speechless... This level of detail would be outstanding on a 1/35 kit...

Okay did some more work on the hull after getting back from traveling for business and then shoveling even more snow. I had to rework the suspension as you can see in the pictures also replaced the kits stowage doors with some more metal added in some of the kit PE and a couple of minor tweaks here and there still have a few more items to finish up this week and then time to add the color. Thanks again for looking and the comments. Cheers, Thom

Hello Gents here is a bit of a progress update. We've got wheels on sticks with some colored sauce. Then we have a couple of new turret pics with color and a piece of stowage. And finally a bit more work done on the hull, need to finish building a new fireputtieouttiethingy and then on to painting. Thanks as always for looking and your comments are welcomed. Cheers, Thom

Thom, that's just plain stellar my friend. The PE work is top shelf. The cage on the left fender and the mirrors are particularly good. Nice, nice, nice.

Jeff, Leon, Luigi thank you for the kind words friends. I had to scratchbuild the sand channels because the kit parts snapped apart after the first bend even though I annealed them first. They came out okay except I'm not happy that the bends are not as sharp a corner as I'd like to see, oh well better next time. Cheers, Thom

Hello fellow styrene sniffers I have a little update here. Finished the detailing of the hull scratch build the fire extinguisher and the bracket to hold it, also added the mud flaps to the front and rear fenders. Then I primed it with the Vallejo U.K. Bronze Green. Then I gave it a coat of the final color Aqueous Field Green Since I had the turret already painted I added the decals to it for the Spanish Marine Corps 1975 version. And then I noticed a couple of bubbles from the application of future over the decal and since smoothed them out. Thanks for looking. Cheers, Thom

Jeff, T, and Phil thank you for the kind words and Luigi I am pretty sure you can hold your own and do not need to take up knitting my friend. Sorry for the late replies I was away on business them came home and got sick, just now getting over that so hopefully I can get back to the bench and finish up this piece and some others I have going. Thanks again for looking and the comments. Cheers, Thom
