Nice work King! The 599 is a hot, hot car. And the Evo upgrade is the cherry on top! One of my favorite Red Stallions ;D

Today I have mostly been moving from one disaster to another. I started putting the laquer on and, as with the Death Race Astra, it all went Pete Tongue. Looks bloody awful. So out came the wet and dry for a bit And some more paint Then on with the decals, and me second disaster. The Tamiya decals just came apart Unfortunately the first one went on perfectly so I've got to live with the second one. One of the tiny Union Jacks even managed to split. The huge Revell decals went on perfectly though I used my new patented carbon painting technique on the rear butresses. The one thing today that worked.

It looks sexy now with red paint on! Please do not hesitate to let me know if you need me to send you some USA flags. Kidding... keep it coming.

A lot of work done with very little to show for it. the ickle wheel centre decals etc are on, following by many hours of very careful waxing. Which you cannot see in the pics at all.
This is probably the closest to its actual colour
