Hey fellas, Been playin around with a Tamiya Leopard I, givin to me by our MSC brother Russ (rbaer). Im just kinda throwin styrene at it and make it look what i think is cool to my eye. No real direction...just whatever comes to mind, i do. Not goin over board on the redo, but thinkin on doin a sweet camo job on it that wont be easy. Anyhoo, here tis. Reposted pic. ACW, more to come.

Cheers Bro- reason I was asking was because of the Turret. Tamiya didn't do an applique armoured turrert -just a(poor) rendition of the original cast one or the A3/4 welded one. Lookin good though fella!

I'm intrigueeed. Tamiya or Italeri ? It was one of my very first semi-major conversions, done from pics in a couple of Concord and Osprey books, maybe 15 years ago. It wasn't terribly accurate, but I always liked the look of it. Gary's such an excellent painter I thought maybe he could have a good time with it, and it looks like he certainly is! I'll be watching with interest!

I have been wanting to do an Alvis Vickers Ltd / MANTAK joint venture for a long time, that is why I happen to have a couple of spare Merkava III's and Chally 2's in the stash. This would be the alternative Merkava 3 E Just name the place and time and I'll gladly join you Paul

WHEEEEEEEEERE IS MY U/D GARY!! (in my best mother's voice) Well MOM, your boy just came thru, right before curfew! Made a new mantlet & a vision thing-a-majigger on the turret. Got a nice piece of clear plastic to put in in later. More later.
