Great pictures. Thank you for sharing. Don't often see the French Military in pictures so very nice to see. Paris of course is one place I have to visit.

Outstanding photography there especially the Elfie Tower shot. I find it intersting how the French soldiers seem to prefer the white uniforms while much of the rest of the world has gone to camouflage uniforms for other than funerals. Thank you for taking time to show us whats going on in the French Army.

Enjoyed the pictures very much! Trying to figure out what the troop in the sixth picture was carrying... a wooden bar or an axe?

You spoil us once again with some fantastic pictures Julie......i`m just going to have a look at the foreign Legion link to find out what the brown aprons mean.....i have seen these worn before but never known why.....thanks again Julie (green smile)
