Andy
I'm glad you brought us up to date on this one. I agree with dupes, love the seriously abused look of the equipment in the pics. Great references1

Anthony- Thanks buddy! I sprayed Ammo black primer on it first then AK (prior AMMO) Grey Panzer color modulation. Sprayed couple coats of lacquer flat clear to protect the base coat. Then finally I sprayed 'Chipping Fluid' from AK doing hairspray method... I was afraid I sprayed too many coats because Vallejo is very easy to chip unlike Tamiya so next time just ONE coat or even none!!! Hope this helps... You still have chance to look at my longer WIP at MHISC before it is taken down if you wish. myhobbyinfo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=96&t=1074Dupes- That's why I love DAK or North Africa campaign... lots of beating! LOL Thanks man! Boyd- Thanks... glad you liked it! If you liked the pictures, then you should get this book too... plenty of great color pics of DAK!!! Amazon sells it for only $30 or $35 I think... one of best reference books to date.

Tobi- LOL! Know what you mean but you will not regret if you get this book. Like other guys said, it is a must to have for DAK fans like me! Happy to have you around buddy!
Leon- Thanks wizardo! Hope to do another update before my vacation starts in few days!
Jeremy- Thanks mate! You won't be disappointed when you get them. Just go easy on chipping with Vallejo because it is much easier to rip paint off. Use less chipping fluid... you might want to practice on scrap first. I didn't... DUH! But was able to apply more paint on some places where I ripped too much paint...
Bill- I hope so! Maybe before end of August... will be away for nearly two weeks. Thanks Tex!
Marcel- Glad you got that book too. One of best color pics for sure! Glad you like it so far... thanks man!

OK, I found an offer for the book at the Amazones for just under 50.-€ and ordered it! It'll better be good, because Indiana isn't that huge. Just a little over the size of Bavaria and with less inhabitants...

Sooo, finally German customs have released my book! Great find, thanks for the tip Andy. Though I have to say, it's a little incomplete. Nowhere a trace of this in it: I'm going to show you in the Diorama section soon!
