whilst waiting for the pe to arrive for my next build (revel, panther, 1:35th ) i thought i,d do a quick build........WRONG!!!!!! was going to do this oob, but decided to add ,rb barrel, and zimmerit, then noticed..... lack of shurzen!! not sure why dragon didn't add this as standard, unlike revel, but there you go,the rest of the kit is superb,on with the show,

Hi DR great start .. I'm working on one of these in 1/35th scale and I can see just as much detail on this one as on my kit .. Man 1/72 has changed since the last time I built one .. (ain't going to happen soon ) lol.
Keep it coming I'll be watching ..

Hi DR ... I only know this because of my own idea of adding the co-axial MG to my Stug IV .. It seems this was never done on the Stug IV .. Just thought you'd like to know .. but it does look cool.

Is the zim hot-melted? As in soldering iron-style?

Hi DR ... I'm doing a blog on Armorama (that's why I can't post it here ) The latest version of the Stug IV is a mix of old sprues with a few new parts ..The instructions are crap ..The tool placement on the fenders are wrong .. but as usual Dragon kits are crisp and no sink marks or punch marks anywhere visable ... So with some good references I should be fine.. There is a mistake on the new shutzen holders That Craig Ellis pointed out along with the info about co-ax MG .. Mike Roof also converted the earlier Dragon kit into a late and is a great reference over on Armorama. I'm still finding little things that my references can't really answer (like the bumper stop on the commanders hatch(should it lay flat like late stug IIIs?..and does the pistol port beside the driver disappear on these final models?? I think it should .. ) but it's coming along quite well. I just can't wait to show my work here again ... There is so much more camaraderie and encouragement over here.
