No flippin' way! This has been in my cart at IMech for a couple of of months...was hoping to find a review/build log before I pulled the trigger. In the meantime, I've been playing Borderlands 2 waaaaay too much. Got a game-related scheme in mind?

Thanks all and take a seat, drinks and snacks are in the kitchen :-)
Dupes, Before I did a search on Google I never heard off the game Borderlands, the last game`s I did was Pong and Pacman :-) so not game-related.

Thanks guys. Dupes thanks for the offer for sending some stuff for inspiration but I have all ready a nice idea for it :-) Today I have done some work on the back end and that's was not so easy as it like, much dry fitting to do to get everything align and the main problem was the engine this one come on a place in the frame and if this is not correctly placed nothing else fits good. The way that I have have build the back end of this buggy. I have noticed that you must follow the instructions so that you not running in problems at a later stage, never though that I will say that :-) The three exhausts are a little different off shape and must placed correctly There are two small parts, those ones that's coming from the the frame and going to the axle/drive train there is is right and left part not noticed in the instructions and not directly visible.

No problem...can't wait to see what you go for. I've been looking at this design for a while wondering if there's any way to paint and weather the engine separately and then insert it after. Is that even remotely possible?

Yes I can paint it separately Dupes. The way that I want to build and paint the model is first build it how its now mostly dry fit, then painting everything and putting everything together, you can say that I build it twice without and with paint :-) Sound complicated and maybe it is but I think its must work this way due the good fit of the model.

Progress looks great Ron. It's nice to hear you can dry fit everything and then assemble it after painting, it's an uncommon option.

Yes I know Luigi it's its not the normal way of painting a model. I do it this way that there are many hard to reach places when painting the model and i want to use several colors and hope to avoid this way a lot of masking. Hope that it's work this way and if not I must started over and have learn something the hard way :-)

wbill76, I was always wondering what to do with so much clamps but now I know :-)
I want to try to airbrush some off Tamiya`s clear colors over the silver parts, no idea if it will work.

Whoah...that DID work! I'll admit, I've never tried using their clears out of the airbrush - usually just for lenses and things. I can see some potential there for some nifty effects.
