Hey Guys, wanted to post a pic of a late spring diorama that started as a base for some newer product and I was going to bring it to Armorcon for display but the scene got too cramped for the Jagdpanther I had set for it. I have now switched it to an Ostwind circa late spring 1945. Ostwind currently under construction will post more when its finished. The theme is dry mud now not wet.

Great work Joe. Are all of the materials used from Scenic Factory?
Either way you've done a top notch job.
Regards,
Brett

Thanks guys, yes Brett all is from The Scenic Factory I was originally making it to bring to Armorcon for display of some new products (shrubs)then I got carried away. I rarely do "green" scenes, I am mostly a fall/winter guy, but had a lot of fun with this. When the Ostwind is done I will post some completes. I have just started a "Hurtgen Forest" Dio that I will post under a different thread.

Big dead trees are sagebrush with a little extra detailing and the small ones are "saplings" sprayed a dark gray primer the sprayed with an ink/alcohol wash, foliage is Silflor. I love the Silfor stuff but scale wise its only good for saplings. I'll hit it a little with the airbush in the end where too much of the same color sticks out. Yea Todd like Virginia you guys are "planted" for real long durations!

Ahhhh, are you the guy selling the dio products from Armorcon? The one with the muddy, snowy jeep with the really tall trees as a display?

Yup, that was me, I posted some pics under a separate thread for those who may not have seen it.
Andy never say it won't be as good, I have people send me pics that are just as good or better then the stuff I do, as long as your having fun and like it, who cares

Andy, there's a whole store www.thescenicfactory.com/ I actually don't do vending at the moment, I just have Angel from MicroWorld Games carry some select product for shows. I had planned on bringing a lot more but got too busy in the weeks before. There is also scenicfactorydio.com/ which has additional pics and tutorials

Finally got a little bench time to gain some more progress on the Ostwind for this diorama. Still have track work to do and some more weathering but had to drift off and start some camouflage, have some small saplings to chop up and add to hull also
