Hello good people! This is my first post here so meet my little friends first First of all I want to tell you what is my "philosophy of modeling". I call it "relaxing advanced modeling" Because I don't have much time and money for all aftermarket sets I'm trying to do my models fast but detailed and upgraded enough to look cool at the end and to meet my standards of accuracy and final model look I hope you will like it too... So, what we have here is very nice little model from UM in 1/72 scale, Marder III Sd.Kfz. 138, Kit No. 343. It is very good representation of real vehicle for it's scale. It is not perfect of course but it is good enough for me. It has some issues with details in some places (especially interior) but I will give it much more positive marks than negative I assembled main hull parts first and continued with interior of this little beauty. It is almost empty! It has just two seats and nice floor...and nothing else! So I decided to make some details on side panels first. First one is panel that separates engine compartment from the rest of this vehicle. Everything you see on it is added by me because it had only one incorrect opening (hatch) that I removed, with no other details at all. Second stage was panel on the right side of hull. It was flat with no details so I upgraded it with some nice details I made using reference photos of Tristar/Dragon models in 1/35 scale. My favorite detail for now is fire extinguisher I made! I hope you like it! That's all for now, see you soon!

Thanx for nice comments and I'm very happy you like my little project! While I'm doing interior I took photo for you to see original gun of this model, famous 7,5 cm Pak 40. It is not good enough for me and I will replace it with very nice RB barrel (Item No. 72B05). I will have to take all necessary plastic parts from original barrel and gun construction and mix it with afermarket one. It will be fiddly but it will look awesome at the end for sure! I marked parts that I will remove and upgrade...
