Hello MSC'ers To start of year I join one of the campaign in kitmaker.com Chev vs Hemi, I'll be starting with the Camaro since the Challenger is a bit stuck in the shipping process... lol I'm planning if both cars will be red or Camaro *Yellow / Challenger *red your suggestion will be helpful Thanks and Happy and Wonderful New Year to all

AnDy - Im going with the Hemi lol already planned for the 09 challenger (Green with Envy color) lol
Leon - Noted on this will do a straight Yellow for this one... I just hope it will not end up a toy looking finish lol

well to get the party started here's the update of the Camaro I already started work on the body clean the seams and primered (mist) to check what left out... base from experience Revell need clean a lot of seams, flash and fit issues before painting could commence. Cheers!!!

Hi Eastrock, the fine detail on white plastic is hard to see, good idea to prime and check! Looks good so far!

a small update with the Camaro added silver on the the chassis to give more details and life, instead of the pure semi gloss black.. much of the part is already been clean and pre-painted. will some update soon Cheers to all!!!

Thanks Leon for Checking in 1st Mist coat to make the paint adhere to the kit, just let it dry for a day before wetsanding and applying another coat, since I'm using an automotive paint Just my luck encountered a fitting issue... need to shave the exhaust chamber in order to fit the engine to the chassis Cheers!!!

Like the process. I am planning to build the Camaro as my next project. Yours is looking sweet right now. I have built the Challenger already and as a little pre-tip; When preparing the body parts for paint, make sure you sand the edges of the hood bc it was very tight and wouldn't fit right after paint.

Hi Gil, Thanks for the tip I'll take a note of it. As for the Challenger I also bought the Hobby Design Detail set. a small PE fret that cost an arm! lol will soon update this tread.

I have used Hobby design before. Good sets. DIdn't know they made one for the Challenger. Must be Rotors and small metal emblems mostly.

yes they have also included the radiator cover, but the best parts are the emblems which add details to the kit
