I just got the 1/144 Bandai Falcon in the mail yesterday. Marvelous kit, larger than you'd think, not terribly expensive... Very may go that route. Video review?!?! I'll be seconding that!

Hi Everyone Following on from the kits that vindicareassassin so kindly sent me, below is a pic of the stuff I got for my birthday last weekend. As always it's 1/72 for the wargames my son and I play. I got the Armourfast House as we're lacking scenery for our battles. I then went out and purchased some hard hardboard and traced round the house parts, using it as a template, so I can make my own going forward. the Armourfast house cost £8 and the piece of hardboard cost just over £5 and is big enough to do 8 houses, should I want have that many!! I think though I'll start to design some of my own buidings though, once I've got hang of it. Yours Andrew

The first one isn't model related..missed out on the last two tours here in Europe and there was no way of missing out on them again!! Secondly, I had enough of using rattle cans at home (my girlfriend too lol) and picked up a mini compressor and a airbrush. Not THE top of the range brush, but a basic model to give myself some practice for in the future! Tried it out yesterday and was quite happy with the results. A new world has been explored!! Lastly, a few figures, the Bandai 1/12 bike kit and my first ever 1/24 kit..the Nissan Skyline GT-R, looks like a great one to build! An old mate of mine had one back in Australia and I just had to get it. I think my GF will turn green like Yoda if she sees another kit enter through the front door!!

Always go for the back door Shay ! And keep it silent ! I wish I could mate..unfortunately the insulation of my house during the build went 20cm over the gap between ours and the neighbours property. Because of taxes etc we aren't able to use the pathway to get to our garden...everything is done stealth mode via the front door!

While I was expecting some Star Wars stuff for Christmas, I was NOT expecting any kits - but the brother in law came through big time! Got the Bandai TIE Fighter and 1/12 New Order Trooper fig. Haven't got any of the new Bandai stuff due to Disney's clamp down on licensing...looks like I'm going to need to track down some more. These are great!

Last two kits for my stash. I swear! Gifts from the Mrs. I was thinking of buying these two myself but she beat me to it. I think she was checking my browser history. Luckily my browser history has changed pretty dramatically from 25 and single to 35 and happily married. Jeff

Good luck with the El Viejo Dragon kits, especially the two gangsters! Hähä, had the same and dropped building them, they were the badest figures I had seen till this date: the casting was so bad, that it looked more like pewter clumps than figures, sic! Hopefully, yours are better! Since this day I do not buy this brand...

Of course theyre not the newest kits, and they really cant compete with super brands. Still theyre pretty good and have the usual "suspects" like bent guns etc. - but I like the challenge of building them. Heres something for you: The facial expressions of Costner & Connery are very good so far, the rest comes by painting them, I guess - referring to the box art. www.youtube.com/watch?v=xIF_WdPUBFo
