T is right. Though I actually ordered mine on Amazon since we had points and with Prime it worked out a little cheaper. They do sell individual bottles now too. The vendor on Amazon was Mega Hobby. Got them in 2 days. No issues. I never know that Amazon does have this, I am Amazon prime too, gonna check it out... Thanks..

got a few goodies: for the waldo: Pallet jacks and pallets assembled one, theyre nice, laser cut. made one slat broken. for the 1/35 Morser Karl, found the size of the tracks and ordered friul tracks for it (have them for the morser as well). This wil be my first "tank". its a pretty nice kit. comes with 2 extra, aluminum morter shells.

coro69, they were really well made when they first came out years ago and were made by Nitto. There are a lot of new machines and they look as good as the originals.

The mak kits are on Ebay sometimes but same as in Germany very rare or very expensive. The Wave kits are easy to get from Japan or Hong Kong

ordering in japan is ok but the german customs makes it more expensives when it arrives then... we have to pay additional taxes and import taxes. so sometimes this makes them just not affordable. dependent on the value in the package you have to pay taxes up to 25% of the value...

This is the first time I have had to pay VAT on imported kits. 600 hong kong dollars was the declared value on the customs label for 4 wave kits and i had to pay £24 sterling. Still a good deal when its something you want.

ModelFiesta yesterday in San Antonio. Vendors made a comeback after a pretty disappointing year last year. I managed to be good, but came away with a few nice scores... The Tamiya M60 was only $20 - I'm sure we'll have an AFV Club version with the reactive armor before long, but what the heck. Nice easy build to practice some tonal variation and weathering techniques on. The Tornado was a no-brainer at $35. I know the Revell's out there now, but from all I've read it's a real ***** in the construction process. By all accounts the HB goes together very well, and I can live with the minor shape issues. And the Super Tom fills out my collection of Hobby Boss F-14s.

Need to build 80 kits per year until I'm 100 to deplete my stash. Maybe I should sell a couple.

Foe, I've not seen that Panzer before. Looks cool. Great haul all around. yeah they dont make it anymore i guess. trumpeter and dragon made one too. had to get it on amazon or ebay. i guess the morsers usually rode around with 2 of these beasts at all time to load the ridiculously sized ammo. i figure ill make a small dio. well small as it can be. the karl is around 3 ft when done lol

I was going to say, that won't be a "small dio"! Heck, I could barely take a picture of my build when it was complete...almost impossible to fit in the camera viewing zone without standing back about six feet.

You know what...I don't even know if I actually used Prime on it. I had Googled the stuff to find some and got an Amazon link then decided to search it there and found all the sets I wanted with that seller. I did use some of our points accumulated on the Amazon card toward it...

Didn't plan on buying this today, but I've wanted a cordless version for a while. It was in Home Depot's scratch and dent isle. I found neither on the box, but I did find the 40% off. Cheers #57

Oh man I've wanted one of those! Very light in the hand and it does low speeds nicely. Sadly can't justify the cost since I already have a cordless and corded!

I've been wanting to do all the Japanese carriers and would be very happy with this today- But it seems simple and underdetailed compared to the other thing I got today: 900 parts of the largest American tank ever built (I think, please correct me if I'm wrong about that, I assume there are more tank experts here than my local Army base). And I found "Future" finally, so the SR-71 will be back underway after some new chipping tests.

I just got a new apartment so i have a TON of wall space so i may keep it after its built.

These showed up yesterday. 3D-printed Hotchkiss tracks. Fully workable. And printed that way. No cleanup, and really great detail for things are at most 7-8mm wide. Working on a review for the blog now...

And so the 3D revolution begins? Looks promising.

Workable out of the printer? What? If that's true, and they're remotely affordable, why would I use anything else?

Yeah, that's my only real concern is paint adhesion. I mean, they LOOK great from that pic...I'm assuming the print layers aren't visible.
