Wow, the gang altogether at least (hope for more entries of cause!) First, I have decided to do a complete new figure. It would be not fair to make The Thing bust because I have startet it so I will do a Bust I have on my list some weeks now and it is a promise for a friend of mine who is a well known Disney Collector and I have promised to show him something he hadn´t see as a figure till now. Yesterday I started sculpting. Prepare yourself for the most unusual figure you have ever seen (based on a pic I have found in the web). Won´t say anything till I start my thread but you will rofl without end, I hope!
Todd and Deaf: Glad to be in and I do my best! Shay: Well cool Busts here, the Shaman looks creepy like hell. And great Paintjob! Nick: What do you wanna paint, any idea till now? And a definite YES, this will be a cool Board year here!!

Frank, I've already said, Hamlet of "Heroes & Villains" is my proposal for this group build! I think your question is adressed to Tobias. Cheers, Nicolae

Oh I'm sorry! I don't want to muddy up the water please remove the post and I will look for something to do that's not started. Nah, keep your post here... we want to see others work. I was torn between few busts including one that you painted but I opted for US GI because it is overdue for me to do an American. I like to balance my work between American and German... know what I mean? I'd love to see you sign up here if you want to do another bust! I have to find one I like first. I have a few in mind. Hi guys I will joining this groups build and will see where it ends. I have the choice off three busts not the easy ones to paint for my skills at this moment or maybe I sculpt a bust, a nice challenge for me :-)

Dang. I'd love to get in on this, but I can't paint figures worth beans!
Hoping that'll change soon...got a new(ish) club member who is aces at figures who is willing to impart some knowledge my way. Certainly can't hurt!

This group event will be epic ! What a great range of superb busts, from medieval to fantasy, it's all there, assembled in one thread. This 1:9 scale medieval warrior from Andrea Miniatures ("After The Battle") is my project, I hope you like him. I CAN'T WAIT !!!

Indeed the party is becoming hot. More and more, with every add. Guy, your choice is one of may favourites too, hope to attack one day. But not too soon, is just the beginning of the year and I'm already a lot of projects to end. Oh, boy, what a year!

Thank you, Chris, for your answer. Well, I knew some Bonaparte busts, but not this. And oils, yeah, still a far away univers for me. If this is your level, can't wait to see your challenge. It will be a high level and very funny group build. Counting the days untill 14th February! Cheers, Nicolae

LOL...sorry if I laugh there Mr. S.!! You could probably run the figure through a coffee grinder then paint it with a toothbrush and end up with a silk purse!! My trick will be to stay just behind everyone else...this way I pick up all the tricks and might end up with something not 1/2 bad!!

I was hoping that my personal figure-tutoring session was going to happen soon enough for me to try to get in on this...but we're going to get snowed out (big surprise this winter, right?). Official tally is 5 feet in 10 days. Time to hire a front end loader to clean out the driveway.
