Nice job on the busts Bruce!! Nothing wrong with looking back on things to get a bit of inspiration!! Right behind you Dupes!! Just under 5 feet! Unfortunately for the kids, the town is right on the ball...plus the state handles the main road...LOL! Poor kids!!

Btw, the biggest "problem" with busts is the Base. I have a eventuell idea for my bust sculpt, but it is easier to make a base for a "normal" figure than a bust, heck!

Somewhat true Frank unless you go with the traditional post into block/plinth. I plan on trying to incorporate something a little different as well...one of those things you work out on the fly...at least from my perspective!

I'm thinking on changing the stone a bit. To give the back "flat" surface more interest and to add more interest to the bust. So that would be mean 2 things I haven't tried yet and would experiment. I made a simple sketch but will see if I manage to pull off what I have in mind

What it's all about Lucas!! Making it "your" piece!! Looking forward to your modifications! Even I have a couple things I need to improve on with my Bust. The figure itself is great, it's the peripheral items that need a little work is all!!

Some modifications needed on your end as well Chris? Young did excellent sculpting and casting as usual...nothing to fix cast-wise. Items like the hose nozzle is a bit outdated and some fancy paint work or something is needed on the pressure gauge! Also the base of the tank...which is actually on the top of the rig should be rounded. Just some things to put on my lists of adjustment once things get underway!!

Will pop up my third choice tomorrow... any takers to equal me on a third?? It's my first time moving away from 54mm, what could go wrong?? (gulp)!!hehe Shay

Chris, that's great news, Ragnar Lothbrock in 75mm, one to put on my list.
Biskup, the Viking figures from Nutsplanet are da bomb ! I'm gonna have to sell some of my armor kits I'm afraid...
