This diorama combines the vacuformed building and base from the MiniArt "Poland 1944" set with the 2004 boxing of the Dragon PaK 40 which has been released a couple times since with different crew figures. The MiniArt kit includes a Russian 7.62cm antitank gun and crew but, since I had previously built the PaK 40 and crew, I opted to use the German items instead. The gun aiming figure is a much modified Tamiya figure. The setting is somewhere on the Eastern Front. Tamiya acrylics were used on the gun, Vallejo acrylics on the figures, and most of the base and building were done with assorted craft acrylics. As they come from the box, the vacuformed parts require some work to make them look realistic. But they offer a nice basis for an urban diorama setting.. The scene was enhanced using crushed plaster, sand, gravel, balsa wood, the injection molded building detritus supplied by MiniArt, and bits and pieces from the spare parts box. All-in-all, a fairly quick and enjoyable build.

'tis a beauty, looks great from all angles. Those MiniArt buildings can be problematic
