Excellent work, though, to me, that crooked track plate on the left rear is bothersome.

Thanks, That will be fixed, They were still setting up and every-time you look at them wrong another track would go wonky so I will fix it once it's attached to the base and I can keep my grubby little fingers off it.

Thanks for the comments and support so here is a little more update for those of you who care. Started working on the base, Used an old piece of Black Walnut I had laying around then built it up with some old pvc sheeting then covered that with Air Clay and spackling for the ground. My first attempt at making a Palm tree.I'm actually pretty happy the way the tree is coming along. Not as good as natures but it works for me. It is just twisted wire covered with clay then wrapped with thin strips of printer paper with watered down Elmers glue with painted feathers for the palms. Still need to add some more palms and paint the trunk now the primer/sealer is dry. As you can see it's not permanently fixed yet to the base as I still need to work on the dozer some more before I blend in the tree to the base as the dozer is now fixed to the base... Going to add some water in the ditch and so on and rust out the tracks then I can do my final weathering. Hope you enjoy. This was the photo that sorta inspired me. Just didn't want to make it that bad.

I'd say you captured the scene nicely without it being a 50-year old rusting hulk! Nice work on that palm tree, once painted it should look the part just fine.

Congratulations on the completion of the model. A little sad to see the old and forgotten monster. Nevertheless, the result is the story of the construction is very good. Thank you for the opportunity to see it! Good luck in the future date!

Nice work there Billejean, first one in 20 years you say... I wouldn't of picked that in million years. I can't wait to see what's coming off your bench in a years time then.

Thank You everyone for the kind comments. The first one in 20 years is a little misleading.. This was the first "COMPLETED" personal model in 20 years.. I have a bunch I started over the years but for one reason or another never finished. Long story of a Mental block, so this was also a very personal triumph for me. So once again Thank You for all the support... AND NOW ON TO THE BARBAROSSA BUILD.

Billiejean Excellent job on the bulldozer and palm tree. Just started mine and have been taking notes not only from your build but from Todd's build to. Looking at doing something like you did with a palm tree for mine. Dan
