Here is an example of a figure I have lost complete interest in after doing all but not the arms of this Vamire Bat Thing. all details are the way I love it but somehow it is no more the figure I wanna do. I will see what to do with it: But sometimes, you love something like this figure. It is done in 1:24 after a painting of Chris Achilleos THE WAR OF THE WINGMEN. My main problem were and are the wings, but this would be solved. Other problems are the eyes, which have to be redone and the general detailing. But the biggest prob is the plump body. I have to saw it to pieces, make it a bit longer and redo all the detail work done before. But I love this design and the whole figure and will definitly do it. Fantasy rocks! And this is one of my first figures ever done, so it has some nostalgic touch for me. The Axe was my first scratchbuild weapon at all! Frank

Sometime the loss of interest is not always a bad thing. Opens the door to other ventures as well as to new ideas for other projects. I like both of these a lot...but the Vamp dude especially. Maybe parts will end up jumping from one figure to another here and there and the seemingly unfinished will bet to the end of their journey!!

Your work never cease to amaze me... I'd even let that vampire bite me!

Todd, Leon and Deaf, thanks for your support. Todd, you hit the nail on the head. My biggest fault is that I am always excited about new designs or ideas and have to do them asap. I always betray myself when I say to me, I can finish them later... I think, this year will end this because I swore to myself to do a complete overhaul of my work and finish all stuff which is always on my list high above. The Vampire was designed as a two figure vignette with a Vampire Hunter who aimed with a hightech crossbow, in the likes of VAN HELSING, but even more modern. Lets see what will happen!

Deaf, bitten by this guy? Hell, he has no teeth. Till now that means...
