Looks like someone's gone completely mad. An intervention may be in order!
Even in 1/72 this is an ambitions project. I wish you luck. I'll be following along for sure.

QV-H will be a problem with it's cannon armament - I believe cross-kitting with the Vb kit is recommended. Early Mk Vb's had all machine gun wings (IIRC, that was what Bader was flying when he was shot down) so it won't be a waste.
Cheers,
M

Just don't make a mistake...or you'll replicate it 10 times as you move through the assembly! Looks like it should be a fun undertaking to get the full squadron together and all lined up.

Great line-up Jeremy. Your production line would do those spitfire workers at Castle Bromwich right proud.

It's cool to see the different ways you're able to get them together for 'group' progress shots Jeremy. It also serves to remind that these are 1/72 and you're doing a great job with them.

Ok gentlemen, My new book from books website and two rare magazines (I won bid from ebay) - these are very useful, great reference and brilliant graphic art. I was confusing with lots of spitfires colour & markings but I was studying with these for weekly night until I realise know now and found some error spitfires - marking and colour. Painted five different colour paint of spitfires underside - radiators then very dark weather washing. White / Black (Night fighter) Sky type S BS381 Sky Blue (I make own colour paint mixed) BS381 Eau-de-Nil Air ministry Sky blue Sorry my mobile`s camera - bit not good quality colour.
