Since this one is officially done I thought I'd get her in the Gallery like you all have been doing. Like I said in the beginning of the blog of this dio, it was started some time ago and got shelved. After taking her down off the shelf she got a new paint job, a base and a fig. Thanks to all of the members for following along on this project and for all the great comments you've posted. happy modelling scratchmod

Love the addition of the figure Rob...and of course your rusted out hulks are always a pleasure for the eyes!

Rob this is most impressive mate! The finish of the JT was allready very fine, but the groundwork isn't from this world!!!! Very convincing piece. I'm glad you picked this one up again btw: I couldn't find the explanation in the blog, but how did you obtain that nice dried mud on the groundwork? Cheers

I'm with Wout, the ground work is a project on itself !

Thanks fellas, appreciate all the great comments. Bill, figured you'd be tired of seeing my rust buckets by now. Thanks Buddy, always good to have you along on the rust train. Wout's, matt medium and pigments mixed with the ground work material will give a flat dry look. A wash with pigs also adds to the effects, and also dry pigs.

Another great project Rob!! What a scene this must have been, a massive burnt out hulk like a tombstone to the third Reich. Brilliant stuff mate!
