USPS timing was perfect and she showed up yesterday afternoon. The molding is clean and crisp as a brand new dollar bill but the indy tracks are not my cup of tea. They're very narrow making it hard to assemble without dislodging the previous installed link so i'm going to assemble enough flexible links to go around the sprockets and idlers down to the first road wheels then glue the rest like you would DML magic tracks.     I picked out a desert digicam pattern this morning for my paint scheme.  I've been painting mostly dark colors lately and this should get me out of a dark rut. HO HO HO Tony lee |

'Tis the season for big guns! Looking mighty fine there Tony, those track pins definitely look too short to really hold much together. Good call on the hybrid fix. Love the choice of paint scheme as well, enjoy the masking adventure that it presents! |

Hey Bill I assembled that section of sprocket links as a test to see how well they went together and trying to get the pins in place disconnected the previous link two or three times,not good. That's when I got the idea to just do the short workable sections and glue the rest like magic tracks. Worked out pretty good. The digicam scheme will more than likely be a one time experience for my collection. Have you got the boat building out of your blood yet? Thank You Sir Tony lee |

Looks like you need a bigger photo tent... can see how barely it fits inside with the tip of gun touching the tent. LOL Your SPG is looking real good!
